Dark Moss has a Registered Consulting Arborist on staff who has provided tree-related opinions, designs, and specifications for large-scale development projects throughout the Tampa Bay region.
When assessing a tree, we recognize and research the local ordinances related to tree protection, tree removal, and tree replacement. We then process the objective tree assessment data into a relevant, actionable site plan to prioritize tree preservation at schematic site planning.
We work in AutoCAD Civil 3D and can seamlessly coordinate tree-related digital CADD assets with the design team. In many cases, our entire consulting arborist work product deliverable is provided in plan form.

When tree preservation requires particular care in locating structures, we can prepare site-sensitive plans that incorporate the natural resources existing on the site.
ODA Vegetation Management Plans
We prepare vegetation management plans for outdoor advertising signs per F.S. 479.106 or invasive species removal.

City of Tampa has an updated tree table that requires additional data to compute tree mitigation requirements.
