Group 13.6 - Land Planning / Engineering

This type of work involves planning and engineering in support of assessing the impacts that proposed transportation improvements may have on private property. Included in this sub-category are activities involving site analysis for compliance with comprehensive plans, local ordinances, and appraisers’ cost to cure; reviewing and providing engineering opinions of site plans for feasibility and conformance with applicable codes and regulations; assessing the impact to drainage and environment; and preparing site plan and studies which may encompass parking layout, vehicle use areas, and general site consideration in conformance with applicable codes, laws, and regulations.

Group 15.0 - Landscape Architect

This type of work is defined as the rendering of services in connection with the design and construction of landscape projects. These services include planning; site planning; providing preliminary study designs, drawings, and specifications; landscape architectural supervision; job-site inspection; and administration of construction contracts.

Florida Statutes Chapter 481 Section 303 defines the scope of our practice, which includes, but is not limited to: consultation, investigation, research, planning, design, preparation of drawings, specifications, contract documents and reports, responsible construction supervision, or landscape management in connection with the planning and development of land and incidental water areas, the use of Florida-friendly landscaping, the siting of buildings and structures, the setting of grades and contouring of land and water forms, the determination of drainage, and the design of steps and ramps, fountains and pools, fences, screens, dividers and walls, overhead structures, decks, retaining walls, play equipment, benches and planters, drainage structures, lighting, pavement, curbs, and site furnishings.

Our staff includes a Florida licensed Landscape Architect and an APA Certified Planner (AICP).

Additionally, we support the Florida-Friendly Landscaping certification process by identifying “right plant, right place."

Our staff includes an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist. All on-staff arborists are ISA Tree Risk Assessment qualified.
